About the opportunity

As our Early Childhood Teacher, you will lead the approved kindergarten program, designing and delivering play-based learning experiences that spark curiosity and support school transition.

This role focuses on supporting the vital developmental milestones of 4–5-year-olds, including early literacy, numeracy, social and emotional skills, self-regulation, and resilience. Your curriculum will bridge kindergarten and school readiness, helping children enter formal schooling confident, curious and capable.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a high-quality kindergarten program aligned to the approved learning framework
  • Create learning experiences that build children's foundational literacy and numeracy skills
  • Foster children's social and emotional development, independence, and resilience
  • Build strong partnerships with families through clear, consistent communication
  • Mentor and guide colleagues in pedagogy and best practice
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice

What you bring

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
    • Ideally, 12+ monthsof  experience as a Kindergarten Teacher / ECT in Australia
  • Confidence in leading educational programs, engaging families, and mentoring colleagues
  • Availability for full-time or part-time hours, with flexibility across rosters
